Storyteller/Comedian Randy Ross

Randy Ross is a Boston-area novelist, storyteller, and comedian. His one-man shows have been featured at libraries, youth hostels, senior centers, and more than 30 fringe theater festivals around the U.S., Canada, and Edinburgh, Scotland.

In 2007, he took a trip around the world and learned to say in three languages: "Speak English?" "Got Pepto-Bismol?" and "Send the evacuation helicopter." Two of his shows were inspired by the trip.

Current Shows:

"Tales of a Reluctant World Traveler"

Sixteen weeks, four continents, three bungee jumps, and Randy Ross couldn't come home soon enough. This is the story of how a Boston homebody turned a solo trip around the globe into a comedy novel and an acclaimed one-man show. A must-see for book lovers, travelers, writers, whiners, kvetches, and misanthropes.

"How Much Can You Change for Someone You Love?"

In this multimedia performance, Randy Ross presents the wonders and woes of contemporary romance. The show explores the fluid nature of intimacy, independence, and bodily functions, while offering a unique take on personal change and committed relationships – they're not for everyone and that's OK.
